Citizenship Classes

Structured Support for Citizenship Exam Success

Our Citizenship Class is designed for speakers of English as a second language. Students will learn about American history and government as they prepare for the civics portion of the U.S. Citizenship exam. Additionally, students will practice their English language skills as they prepare for their reading, writing and speaking portions of the exam. By the end of the course, students will be familiar with the structure of the Citizenship interview and will be more prepared for the civics and English portions of the exam.

For information regarding our Citizenship Classes, please contact Fabiola Montoya, Carver Citizenship Coordinator at 914-305-6043, or citizenshipservices@carvercenter.org

Carver Center partners with a variety of bilingual immigration lawyers who participate in various programs and workshops throughout the class sessions.
